Andrea Paulson

Pastor Andrea Paulson a follower of Jesus, saved by grace through faith, overwhelmed by the relentless love and abounding hope found in Christ alone. Her desire in life is to point to Jesus. Nothing else matters. 

Andrea serves as Associate Pastor at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hastings, NE. Prior to serving First St. Paul's, Andrea served as Director of Youth Ministry in Fargo, ND. For a decade, Andrea has been committed to advocating for and raising up the next generation of church leaders and challenging church comfort zones in the face of rapidly changing world. Her passion is to equip youth, young adults and families to live their mission so that they can point to Jesus. 

Andrea graduated in 2002 with Bachelor's degrees in History and Education and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and taught high school before her call to youth ministry. She attained her Master's of Divinity in 2016. With her background in education, Andrea teaches the Bible in ways that are engaging, creative, interactive and sometimes a little off the wall. But if it points us to Jesus, that's really all that matters. 

Andrea has been married to Jeff for 19 years. They have four children, Lucas, Alex, Lisa and Amelia, and a spirited German Shepherd, Dakota. Besides Jesus and her family, Andrea is thankful for coffee, Diet Coke, hockey and missions to Catadupa, Jamaica.

Brandon Foster

Pastor Brandon serves as Lead Pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbus, NE. He grew up on a beef cattle farm in the great state of South Dakota, then moved to the other great state of North Dakota before moving to another great state: Nebraska. It was at NDSU where he was awakened to the great love of our Savior through the news of the Gospel.

He has served in ministry for over 13 years. He has a passion for student ministry, helping students believe, understand, and live in the love of God through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Pastor Brandon also has a heart to see the nations reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and is passionate about mission ministry in the Church. Pastor Brandon longs to see the Church have a future-oriented vision of itself, while also knowing the importance of receiving care right now - no matter what life throws our way.

Pastor Brandon is married to Monique, and they have three children: Natalie, 6, Miles, 3, and baby (due March 2020).

Pastor Brandon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from North Dakota State University, and a Master's of Divinity degree from Sioux Falls Seminary.

Kendra Diehl

Kendra Diehl is a lover of God, an imperfect disciple of Jesus Christ, and a student of Scripture and culture. Her goal in this crazy life is to emulate the crazy love of God in every day life, and to help others do the same.

In her day job she is committed to training ministry leaders to lead, love and serve as disciples of Jesus Christ, who rely on the power of God’s Holy Spirit. If she had a night job she would want to sing the blues. Kendra serves as the Vice President of Ministry Formation and Innovation at The Master’s Institute Seminary in St. Paul MN.

She and her husband of 36 years, Rob, have a vibrant, growing, multi-generational family, but no dog – she wishes she still had a dog! For fun she likes all things warm, sunny and adventurous.

Levi Faas

Levi and his wife Kate live in Des Moines with their two cats.

He is blessed with an enduring compassion for people, a steady curiosity to know the Lord, and a joyful & keen ability to worship God through music. In his role as worship coordinator, Levi gets most excited about deepening relationships, growing in leadership, and helping to create a worship environment in which people can authentically and meaningfully respond to what God is doing in their lives.

When he’s not at the church, Levi can most often be found hiking, reading, playing his guitar, or finishing up an undergraduate degree in Human Services, Psychology, and Theology at Grand View University.

Mario Alejandre

Maroi comes to the Midwest by way of California and Utah. He currently serves at Lutheran Church of Master in Omaha, Nebraska.  He was privileged to study philosophy at the University of Utah and Christian Apologetics at Biola University in Southern California.

His many loves include family, friends, honest conversations, music, books, sports, the MCU, good coffee, and most of all, Jesus.  If he wasn't in vocational ministry, he thinks he'd be working in a kitchen creating meals for others.

He and his wife, Tera, have been married for 18 years and have two kids, 2 chocolate labs, 2 betas, 1 bird, and a hamster. HELP! 

Mark Vander Tuig

Mark Vander Tuig doesn’t sit still for very long, needs coffee, loves humor, and is passionate about Jesus.

He is a resource to congregational leaders, pastors, and anyone else who calls; hoping to help them to catch the vision of the Great Commission.

Growing up, Mark was expelled from his youth group and decided then that there had to be a better way to do “church”. For the future, he would like to see the people of LCMC strengthen the churches we have and plant the ones we don’t.

Noah Ruppert

Noah lives in Pleasant Hill with his wife, Emily, and their two children, Joel and Hannah.

He serves as Discipleship Pastor and enjoys seeing students growing in their faith and relationship with Jesus. Noah is dedicated to building up the body of Christ in training and equipping God’s people for works of service.

He enjoys spending time with family, disc golf, and watching the Minnesota Vikings almost make it to the Super Bowl!
