St. Paul’s Lutheran Church is located in Hanover, MN, a thriving community 30 miles northwest of downtown Minneapolis. Founded in 1900, the church has been a member of the LCMC since 2010. We average 300 people per Sunday, with 1,000 baptized members. Our members come from many of the surrounding communities, including St. Michael, Albertville, Otsego, Buffalo, Delano, Corcoran, Greenfield, Rockford, Rogers and Big Lake. We have a diverse membership, with nearly half of our members coming from religious traditions other than Lutheran.
We are a congregation of many ministries, with a thriving education and youth program. We offer three services each Sunday; traditional at 8am, blended service at 9:15am and a 10:45am service of Word and Praise. Our historic structure was completed in 1902.
Our church appreciates having a clearly defined faith. We turn to the Bible as a literal guide to living. We see our fellow church members as more than just community – we are a family. As a congregation, we are focused on having a Christ-based foundation so we can go out and share the good news in our greater community.
We have completed an extensive congregational assessment identifying the following as key strengths of our next senior pastor:
- Strategic Leadership
- Pastoral Care
