Church Planting Orientation & Church Planters' Reunion
Church Planting Orientation & Church Planters' Reunion
LCMC Annual Gathering Workshop Series
"...unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds." Jesus, as recorded in John 12:24
What if every congregation in our association took Jesus' words seriously, and began to multiply it's gospel influence?
Join the Rev. Dan Clites, LCMC's Coordinator for Church Planting Development, as he shares a 3-part breakout session that can lead to the successful planting of new churches that reach the cracks, corners and crevices of our culture. Each breakout leads to the next, so if starting a new faith community is something the Lord is urging you to explore, then be sure to attend all 3 breakout sessions.
Topics Include:
- Assessing a mission field
- Developing mission-vision-values for discipleship
- Training a launch team
- Reaching unchurched people
- Connecting to the city
- Creating engaging worship
- Implementing financial sustainability
Please register for each session of the workshop when you sign up for the Annual Gathering.
Church Planters' Reunion Gathering
Our LCMC Coordinator for New Ministry Development, the Rev. Dan Clites, is hosting a Church Planters' Reunion Gathering during our Sunday evening dessert hour at this year's Annual Gathering. All past and current planters, their spouses and launch team members are invited. The group will share, support and pray with each other as we seek to become a thriving church planting network.
