Mission Partners [Global Topic] http://www.lcmc.net/mission-partners/feed?topic=45 LCMC encourages congregations to partner with mission agencies as part of their benevolence programs. We believe that partnering with agencies, as opposed to national oversight of benevolence funding, creates a positive experience for both the congregation and the mission partner. Throughout the years, LCMC has been introduced to many organizations throughout the world that are working together to fulfill the great commission and bring the gospel to all people. This list is not meant to be exhaustive, but to be an assistance to congregations seeking new partnership. Additional partners will be added as we develop new relationships. en-us Preparing for Amazement Ministries http://www.solapublishing.com/mission-partners/preparing-for-amazement-ministries/a943.html Tue, 08 Jun 21 00:00:00 +0000 The mission of Preparing for Amazement Ministries is to revitalize and build the global church.

Empowering and equipping churches leads to create lasting and transformational health.

Patrick Lencioni, in his book, The Advantage, notes that ‘organizational health trumps everything.’ Not only have we found his argument to be true in the church to a high degree, but we have also found it to be true for the leaders of the church as well. Outside of the Gospel, the most important factor in the effectiveness of a church is the health of the church. Outside of the work of God, health is the most important factor in the effectiveness of pastors, staff and ministry leaders. Health trumps.

Our vision is to be the impetus in the revitalization and rebirth of the global church through training, resourcing and intentional learning experiences for Christians, empowering them to serve their communities around the world. We will empower and equip churches and leaders to create lasting and transformational health. Our ministry includes three primary elements:

  • Church & Leader Health: To provide support, education and resources for pastors and ministry leaders to experience transformative health for maximum Kingdom impact. We also help churches experience greater organizational health through education, training, consulting and other support.
  • Church Revitalization: To provide networks, resources and training to assist churches and their leaders in revitalization. We also connect churches and ministry leaders to one another, helping churches find health, hope and life in order to experience revitalization.
  • International Ministry: To provide training for churches, pastors and leaders in areas around the world where poverty prevents them from receiving quality training. We also seek to create international internships, missions and learning experiences for churches and their leaders to learn from others around the globe.

“Look at the nations and watch— and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.” Habakkuk 1:5

The whole gospel for the whole world.

Core Values:

  • Building the Global Christian Church
  • Revitalizing Local Churches
  • Equipping Pastors and Leaders
  • Creating lasting and transformational health

Awakening Lives to World Missions http://www.solapublishing.com/mission-partners/awakening-lives-to-world-missions/a288.html Tue, 10 Mar 15 00:00:00 +0000 “Mobilizing & Equipping Churches for Strategic & Fruitful Global Mission Outreach”

Awakening Lives to World Missions (www.alwm.org) exists to call and equip congregations and individual Christians to actively respond to Jesus’ command to take the Gospel to the nations. (Matt 28:18-20, Acts 1:8)
ALWM can come alongside and assist local churches in discovering and advancing their unique missional calling through Biblical principles, practical experience and evangelical passion. Pastor Bill Moberly has developed an introductory seminar called “Harvest Connection” which interactively and enthusiastically teaches the basic building blocks for fruitful and personal world mission involvement.

In addition, ALWM uses a time-tested Global Outreach Process for Local Congregations.

The churches that have applied this process have realized a:

  • Significant increase in funds available for missions
  • Clearly defined plan for strategic outreach developed
  • Substantial rise in congregational involvement in missions
  • More participation in the Global Call of the Great Commission, including people called within the congregation to full-time missions.

ALWM can be your partner in mobilizing and equipping your congregation to be meaningfully, strategically, and effectively engaged in completing the Great Commission. We have and can recommend pray resources; launching your Global Mission team, or strengthening/refocusing an existing Mission team; adopting unreached people groups; holding a successful annual mission festival; finding short term mission trips or assistance in organizing a fruitful STM from your congregation or region; and more. We are developing a national Lutheran mission networking database that will roll out later in 2015!
