Fellowship Activities for Tuesday Evening

New for 2015, we'll have several opportunities available for fellowship time on the evening of Tuesday, May 5th.  These activities are completely optional to take part in, but please let us know if you if you plan to participate by indicating so on your registration form.  There is an additional fee to take part in some of these activities, as indicated below.

Several of the fellowship activity options are listed as Guided Activities, which means that tickets and/or a headcount are needed in order to accommodate all who wish to attend.  If you plan to take part in one of the guided fellowship activities, please register in advance to guarantee your spot.

Guided Activities

Columbus Clippers Baseball Game

Enjoy an evening of Columbus Clippers Minor League Baseball at Huntington Park, conveniently located in downtown Columbus.  Watch the AAA Affiliate of the Cleveland Indians take on the Chicago White Sox AAA affiliate, the Charlotte Knights in a recently built and award-winning Minor League ballpark.   Be on the lookout for foul balls and a special scoreboard shout out to the LCMC attendees.  Adults $10; Youth (12 & under) and Seniors  (60+) $7.  Location:  330 Huntington Park Lane, Columbus, OH 43215, 614-462-5250.  Approximately 9 miles from the Church at Mill Run.  Advance registration is required.


North Market Tour/Dinner

Embark on an Amazing Tastes Tour of downtown Columbus’ largest public food market.  During the one hour tour you will meet some of the North Market merchants first-hand, sample some fabulous local foods and then enjoy a $5 voucher to purchase a delicious dinner.  Relish your meal in the balcony eating area while taking in the sights, sounds and smells of an international array of foods.  $15 per person, 4:30pm.  Location:  59 Spruce Street, Columbus, OH 43215, 614-463-9664.  Approximately 10 miles from the Church at Mill Run.  Advance registration is required.


SON Ministries

Observe one of the most comprehensive English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) programs in the country.  Learn how the Church at Mill Run hosts a program to support ESOL families with children from infancy to teens by providing both professionally-taught English classes as well as infant, preschool and school-aged reading, tutoring and extra-curricular programs for the children of the attendees.  Tour and view the different aspects of the ESOL program, and then enjoy time talking with the staff to exchange ideas.  Location:  The Church at Mill Run, 6:30pm.
