Unleash Your Creativity - Enter Our 2026 Photo Contest
Where is God’s work being UNLEASHED in your congregation and community? The LCMC Photo Contest offers churches an opportunity to share inspiring images and stories that celebrate faith, ministry, service, and the life of the local church.
From worship, fellowship, and celebrations to service projects, education, and everyday moments of faith in action, we want to see how God’s work is being unleashed in your congregation and throughout your community!
Our annual photo contest offers LCMC congregations a chance to share their work and ministry with churches and leaders throughout the association. Selected photos and stories will be featured in upcoming LCMC newsletters as a way to encourage and inspire others in their ministry and to showcase the life, work, and talents of the local church through a creative lens.
Detailed captions are an important part of each entry, helping readers understand the people, places, and stories behind each image.

How to Enter:
To enter, simply complete the three steps below:
- Download and fill out the photo contest entry form here: Entry Form (PDF)
- Submit photo contest entries via email to Kristy Thomas: Click Here to Enter
- Attach your completed entry form(s) and photo(s) to your email, then send it by the deadline date. The deadline to submit photos is November 2.
Rules & Guidelines:
- The photo contest is online only. Photos and entry forms must be submitted according to the instructions listed above and received by the deadline date to be eligible. (If you have trouble attaching high resolution photos to an email due to large file size, please feel free to reach out to Kristy Thomas for a link to upload your photos online.)
- Churches are welcome to submit multiple entries that reflect different aspects of congregational life, ministry, service, and celebration. If your congregation is submitting more than three photos, multiple entry forms may be used so that captions can be included for all photos.
- Photos should be clear, high quality, and accompanied by accurate information identifying the event or activity pictured. Detailed captions are an important part of each entry, helping readers understand the people, places, and stories behind each image.
- Photos should be in .jpg, .jpeg, .png, or .gif format ONLY. We are not able to accept Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, or Publisher files in lieu of actual photos.
- Any photo submitted must be an original work (owned by the individual or the congregation), and not the intellectual property of someone else.
- By submitting any photo(s), you agree that you have permission to share the photos, and that any images submitted may be used without compensation for the purposes described above.
- Photos must be submitted by an LCMC congregation, an LCMC pastor, or an LCMC district or fellowship.
