Women of the Word
WOW Heartland District
Women of the Word is a group of women of the LCMC Heartland District who are:
- Committed to come together for Bible Study
- Participate in the ministries of LCMC
- Support the total program of LCMC
- Support one another in Action and in prayer
- Help other women's groups that subscribe to the purpose
Each Heartland District Congregation may have a Women's Group (Unit) as part of the WOW and is entitled to have a contact person at the District Board meetings.
- The Heartland District WOW Executive Board will consist of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Secretary of Education, and Secretary of Stewardship (Elected by voting delegates at the Faith and Friends Festival) and a Pastoral Advisor.
- The Heartland District WOW General Board will consist of the Executive Board and a Contact person from each Congregation Education and Stewardship Secretarys will be an informal contact to the Unit for materials.
- Each Unit member shall be eligible to hold a District office.
- Each Unit shall have one vote and cooperate with the nominations of the officers.
- A non-voting member to the LCMC National Conventions will be elected at the Faith and Friends Festival.

The women's organization of the Augustana District, WOW is a group of Lutheran women committed to helping one another grow and connect infaith, fellowship, and mission.

Carolinas Lutheran Women (CLW)
The Carolinas Lutheran Women (CLW), partnering with NALC and LCMC, invites all interested Lutheran Women in North and South Carolina to join us as we strive to fulfill our Mission Statement and Purpose. We officially formed on October 8, 2011. With God's blessing and direction we look forward to growing and linking congregations together as we commit to come together for prayer, study, support, and action. As sisters in Christ, we would like to invite you to join us in this exciting time of growth and service.
