Regional Meetings
Who is LCMC and why were we formed?
During 2012, LCMC will be hosting several Regional Meetings in locations all across the country to help answer these questions.
We have grown every year since our beginning more than eleven years ago, so in order to help our newer members connect with those of us who have been around for a while, we thought that these “regional gatherings” may help with that sense of belonging.
Those who attend these meetings will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about the DNA of LCMC and what makes us who we are
- Find out more about the proposed changes to the bylaws for our association
- Rediscover the motivation and the passion to go out and accomplish what Jesus told us to do
- Come together with others in the area for a worship service including Holy Communion
- Ask questions and get answers about our association
Congregational leaders and members are all welcome to join us.
This is a new paradigm for us in American Lutheranism and for it to continue to work, all of the members of our churches need to understand what we are trying to do.
