Pastor: Christ Lutheran Church is currently seeking a full-time pastor. Pr Paul Myers will be retiring in the summer of 2007. This is a congregation made up primarily of retired or semi-retired members, although there are many younger families in attendance. They are worshipping around 130 members a weekend. Duties would include teaching an adult Bible Study class; conducting Sunday morning worship as well as various services for special times of the year, such as Christmas and Lent; officiating at baptisms, weddings, and funerals; leading confirmation classes; offering guidance to already established small groups such as prayer and Bible study groups.
We seek a new pastor who is sincere, organized, compassionate, dedicated and knowledgeable. A pastor who is aware of the needs and concerns of our congregation and will work to bring new growth, which will include young people and children, the future of our Church. A pastor who will have input at Council meetings but not control, and also a pastor who will delegate work as our congregation is filled with people who want to help in the name of the Lord.

Full-Time Youth Coordinator: Grace Lutheran Church (LCMC) is accepting applications for a salaried, full-time coordinator of youth ministries. GLC is a five year old congregation, formed "To teach the truth of the Word to the glory of God" with a strong emphasis on the Lutheran Confessions. We have an active children's ministry on Wednesday afternoon, (pre-K through 5th grade) and a three year confirmation (6-8), and an active middle school Bible studay. The primary emphasis for this position will be relational youth ministry with the middle school and high school youth. Secondary responsibilities will include involvement in primary education and helping train, equip, support and encourage volunteer youth ministry leaders. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree with training in youth ministry or equivalent experience.
