The LCMC Ministry Board has planned an excellent conference. The presenters will address the reality that our mission field is varied and often a resistant collection of cultures. We who are in leadership are called to be "in mission for Christ." Most of us do this in and through the context of our local congregations. Therefore we ask: How do our congregations turn their focus out to the mission field? If that did happen, how do we relate to a resistant culture? We also ask: How does the Gospel touch people today in a couple of practical situations, such as marriage and the mix of generations? Small group discussions will follow the presentations to enable your ideas and your experience as missionaries in our world to be heard.
The planning group for this event is the LCMC Ministry Board: Dave Drum, Paul Spaulding, Kathy Sukke, Jeff Nellermoe, Tim White, and Bruce Wilder.
