Fall Mission Festival at St. Paul Lutheran

St. Paul Lutheran, Palmer, KS, celebrated a Fall Mission Festival on October 7, 2012.

The speaker was Pastor Mary Fast, Omaha, NE. She is the founder of Pathways Outreach Ministries in Omaha, which reaches out to those who are marginalized by society – incarcerated, disabled, or dealing with addictive behaviors. Modeling their path after the ministry of Jesus Christ, her non-profit organization seeks to share the Gospel and respond to the needs of those they serve. Located in Omaha, NE, Pathways seeks to develop a structure for outreach ministry that can be duplicated in other areas of the country. They provide Bible studies, counseling, worship opportunities, and a “wrap-around” program providing the support individuals need to re-enter the community successfully.

St. Paul Lutheran in Palmer is a member of the Prairie Valley Parish, a four-point parish in north central Kansas served by Pastor Tom Sahl, Vernon Mai (PMA), and lay preacher Stan Ericson.
